Covid-19 Policy

Updated on 2 Nov 2021

The Covid-19 virus continues to evolve and things may change rapidly so it’s important that you stay updated with the latest news before you travel.

Please refer to the following Government websites for the latest restrictions and rules of the state :

Victoria

Refer to VIC Government’s roadmap.

New South Wales

Greater Sydney includes Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Shellharbour and Wollongong local government areas.

From 1 Nov – 30 Nov,

  • If you are unvaccinated, you cannot travel outside of your local government area for holiday.
  • If you are fully vaccinated, you can travel between Greater Sydney and regional NSW for holiday.

From 1 Dec onwards,

NSW will be fully reopened. Travel between Greater Sydney and regional NSW will be permitted for everyone regardless of vaccination statuses.

Refer to NSW Government’s roadmap for easing restrictions.

South Australia

Queensland

Tasmania

In line with Australia’s national plan, restrictions on travel will be eased once Australia reaches phase C with 80% of the population aged 16+ being fully vaccinated (received 2 doses of the vaccine).

Follow the travel guidelines outlined by the World Health Organisation and advice from the Department of Health website. Stay home if you are unwell.

Our cancellation policy

We understand that in these times of uncertainty, we all wish for greater flexibility in planning our trips. We hear you and will continue to maintain our flexible cancellation policy.

Here’s how it works :

  1. 100% refund if cancellations are made at least 5 days before the check-in time (as shown in the confirmation email).
  2. 50% refund if cancellations are made at least 2 days before check-in.
  3. No refund for cancellations made less than 2 days of check-in.

Cancellations due to Covid-19

We encourage you to first consider changing the date of your stay. This would lessen the financial impact on our hosts with the loss of bookings. Please contact us at [email protected] to reschedule your stay.

Covid Safe Plans

1. Contactless check in and out procedure

To be in line with safe distancing rules and minimise physical contact, the check-in and check out will be contactless. This may vary depending on your hosts, but safe distances will be maintained throughout. If you need help, your hosts will be able to assist via phone call.

2. Cleaning and disinfecting, including frequently touched surfaces

The tiny houses will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected according to Safe Work Australia’s cleaning guide. Frequently touched surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected after every guest checks out.

3. Antibacterial hand soap will be provided

To help you protect yourselves, we will provide antibacterial hand soap. Please use these to wash your hands whenever you are back from your local tours or visits to town.

Download the CovidSafe App

To support the contact tracing efforts, we encourage all our hosts and guests to download the CovidSafe App. This will help the local health officials contact you quickly if you have been in contact with anyone who has Covid-19.

Please contact us at [email protected] if you’ve any questions. Stay strong and healthy!
