Kalmya Farm Retreat by Tiny Away is located in the peaceful rural countryside of Runnymede, QLD 4615. Just 15-minute drive from Nanango, our tiny house sits on a gentle hill with open views, where wallabies roam freely, echidnas occasionally pass through, and colorful parrots often visit, with special seed provided to attract them.

Enjoy the peace and quiet, with no traffic or city lights and see clear starry night skies here at Runnymede’s holiday homes in South Burnett region. Explore famous attractions like Bunya Mountains National Park, BP Dam and Pottique Lavender Farm.

A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.

LOCATIONS
Guests can access the tiny home and the rest of the 20-acre property. Kindly note that the host’s home is also on the property but is fully fenced, gated, and entirely separate from the guest area to ensure your privacy.
- Gas BBQ grill is available - No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed - Self-catering and Child-friendly accommodation - Rainwater can be collected for free and used as drinking water - No smoking allowed inside the tiny home, except in the designated fire pit area - Make sure to turn off the lights, AC, electronics, close windows, and doors when leaving - We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge - Mobile reception is good for Telstra and Optus, Vodafone has a weak signal, and others have no coverage. Important note: - BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban - Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property - For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.

Visit Pottique Lavender Farm for coffee, light meals, and locally made lavender products, or spend the day at BP Dam, where you can enjoy fishing, water sports, swimming, and picnic areas. Local recommendations: Enjoy hearty pub meals at the Commercial Hotel, authentic Thai cuisine at 81 Thai Restaurant, fresh pastries at Twisted Whisk Bakery & Coffee Shop, or affordable dining at the Kingaroy RSL Club. For everyday essentials, Nanango and Kingaroy offer supermarkets, cafés, bakeries, and local shops to make your stay comfortable. Each September, the Nanango Country Music Muster, a popular event attracting visitors from all over Australia. In October, enjoy Waterhole Rocks—a lively rock & roll festival in partnership with the Nanango Car Club, complete with live music and vintage cars on display.
