Ocean’s Edge Retreat by Tiny Away is a pet-friendly tiny house near Portland, Victoria. Enjoy a peaceful coastal escape just a short walk from Yellow Rock and minutes from Cape Nelson Lighthouse, where seasonal whale sightings can be enjoyed.

Explore the stunning Cape Bridgewater coastline, home to a 4 km sandy beach, scenic walking trails, and attractions along the Great South West Walk. After a day out, enjoy evenings by the fire pit, make use of the BBQ, and feel free to bring your pets along for the adventure.

This cozy 139-square-foot tiny home features easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Tiny House is currently positioned next to the main house due to temporary ground conditions, but privacy will not be affected.

Guests can access our cozy tiny home, except for the land host's private residence. On chilly winter days, they’re welcome to warm up and enjoy a game of pool in our pool room. If you’re interested, pre-orders are available with 24 hours’ notice: - Firewood and kindling costs $20 per night - Extra bottled water: $2.50 per 600 ml bottle - Transport to and from town is offered with extra cost - A full-day kayak rental, including a life jacket, costs $20
- Wi-Fi available - No kids allowed. - Gas BBQ grill is available - We have a cat and two friendly dogs - No unregistered guests or visitors allowed - No smoking inside the tiny home and outdoors - Smoking is allowed in the open area outside the tiny home - Kindly ensure everything is clean and in order before checking out - We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge - Telstra, Vodafone, 2degrees, and Spark have strong signal coverage, while Optus has a weaker signal NOTICE TO ALL FURPARENTS: - Enjoy pet-friendly accommodation with up to two cats or dogs allowed (prior notice required). Additional pet fees may apply, and pets must remain on a leash at all times. Full pet guidelines are provided before arrival. Important note: - No BBQ grill and outdoor firepit during a total fire ban - Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present - For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
