THE SPACE
The Ridge by Tiny Away is located in Korweinguboora, just an hour's drive from Melbourne, past Rockbank and Myrniong. The farm stay is just an 11-minute drive from the town of Daylesford, where you can explore attractions like Sault Restaurant, Cliffy's Emporium, and the Daylesford Sunday Market.

A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities including a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for your use.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please take note that this tiny house is an off-grid unit that runs on solar energy. We advise guests to conserve energy during the day and only use it when necessary. Overall, minimal consumption is advised to prevent power outages when using solar power.

As an added note, we also have a second tiny house called "The Perch" available with 24 hours' notice, ensuring you have even more cozy holiday homes to enjoy.

LOCATIONS
Guests will have access to the property and the surrounding areas, except the land host's private residence, sheds, and paddocks where livestock are grazing. Please note that AC IS NOT AVAILABLE but ceiling fan is installed in the tiny house
- Solar-powered - Wifi is not available - No smoking allowed on the property - Mobile reception is good for Telstra only - No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed - Diesel heater is available to provide heat inside - Free firewood is available at the guest's prior request - Seasonal fresh eggs are available at the guest's request - Cooking essentials such as oil, salt and pepper are available - Please keep in mind that some areas are shared, such as the BBQ grill, chairs, etc. - Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission - We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge - STRICTLY NO ARRIVING at the property before check-in time without prior arrangement with the host Important note: - Please dispose of your trashes properly as recycle bins are provided - Guests are advised to bring portable power banks in case of low power - Guests are also advised to save energy to avoid running out of electricity - Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property - Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban - Due to COVID-19, we would like to remind guests that early check-ins and late check-outs are non-negotiable as they require more time to clean and disinfect the property. - For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the compost toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.

This was a beautiful introduction to a tiny home experience, it was well kept and had a beautiful overlook of the property. Jesse messaged the morning of to give us a heads up of water over the path to the tiny home, so when we entered the property it was expected and not surprised. The place was kept clean and clear instructions for the use of the ECO toilet. 10 mins from Daylesford, so very easy and convenient to head into town! Highly recommend for a peaceful weekend away!

Our weekend at the tiny house was amazing! Only negatives were there was no hot water Friday night and was told there was a coffee plunger provided and there wasn’t.

The property is 20 acres of farmland nestled in the Wombat Forest of central Victoria. The cool climate and high rainfall means we are surrounded by lovely, tall eucalypt forest. The house and garden is extensively planted with ornamental and productive gardens, including a fruit orchard, veggie garden and avenues of deciduous trees. The farm is home to a small flock of sheep, chooks, a very friendly border collie dog, and abundant birdlife. The rear of the property has 5 acres of forest to explore with elevated views to the east and access beyond to the Wombat Forest. The nearby forest includes lush fern covered gullies which form the head waters of the Moorabool river.
