THE SPACE
Wollombi Wanderer by Tiny Away is located in the Hunter Region, NSW. This farm stay is close to Yengo National Park, Cedar Creek swimming holes, and Peterson House – Hunter Valley Winery, among other nearby attractions. It is also just a 30-minute drive from towns such as Cessnock and Pokolbin, NSW.

A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities including a waterless eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we also have a second tiny home, "Big Wollombi Wanderer," located 100 metres away. All our holiday homes are available with 24 hours' notice in advance.

LOCATIONS
Guests can access the tiny home and its surrounding areas. There are no restrictions as we want the guests to get the full experience of the property close by the beautiful bush walks and the river at the back.
- No smoking allowed on the property - Mobile reception is good for Telstra & Optus - No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed - Firewood comes at an extra of $20 per bag/serve - We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge NOTICE: Pets are allowed at an additional cost, must be kept on a leash at all times, and owners are required to clean up after them. -Pre approval for pets by owner - Pets are allowed for $30 extra cleaning fee. kindly paid directly to the host - Any damage done by pets shall be payable by the guests - Please clean up after your dog/cat shedding before checking out - Pets are not allowed on beds or linen , and clean after your pet’s droppings - Always remember not to leave your pets unattended inside or outside the property - We recommend that you bring your pet's bed, bowl, and basic needs with you during your stay - Please take note to inform your host 24 hrs before arrival if you plan to bring your pets to our property Important note: - Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban - For stays of 3 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. The property also sits close to three of the region's most sought-after wedding venues: The Wood House, Stonehurst, and Red Leaf, making it a fitting base for wedding guests or a getaway of your own. Only 30 minutes from Cessnock City Council and Pokolbin NSW. Our local recommendations: Food scene - Wollombi Tavern is a popular food pub that serves the best food, beer, wine, and great country hospitality. - Peterson House-Hunter Valley Winery is only a 45-minute drive to some of the best wineries in the Hunter Region. - Wollombi Village Vineyard is a family-owned winery that produces authentic Italian family limoncello recipes, which proved to be a popular wine among the locals. 10/10 The most perfect place to switch off in comfort
What a hidden gem! This tiny house makes you feel miles away but you’re still close enough to enjoy town. The house was spotless, the facilities lovely and the bed very comfortable. The hosts were so kind and generous, we managed to even see Wally the Wombat. 10/10 experience, highly recommend if you want to relax and switch off.

Spent a weekend here, comfy bed, high pressure shower. Basic kitchen equipment but everything you’ll need for a weekend away. As advertised… a tiny home. No where to unpack, no comfy chairs to relax in, super glad we had our camping chairs to relax in by the fire pit. Thank goodness it wasn’t raining so we could chill out in the outside area. Would be a bit uncomfortable if only had the tiny house to hang out in the whole time. The toilet…… well, it’s exactly as stated in the instructions. Make sure you don’t push that water button for too long. It ran out of space the night before our departure (despite following the instructions) so had to drive to Wollombi to use their facilities. But, it was a lovely 2 days, very peaceful and sat by the fire pit at night watching the moon rise, watching wallabies in the morning and being close to lovely Wollombi made for a special weekend, so thank you.
