A Breath of Fresh Air

Story by Ella Grace

Driving along the hunter valley was nothing less than beautiful , the quite roads, and acres of lush green land was breath taking. The property on arrival was very spacious, we pulled up next to our tiny home which was placed right on the stunning river. The views at sunset were breathtaking. We watched hundreds flocks of birds fly across the water in formations.

The next day we got up early and headed for love dale for some hot air ballooning, we unfortunately had out trip planned just before Sydney had the biggest rain storm in a century however nothing was stopping us from enjoying the experience . Despite the grey skies and patchy rain the views from above of the Hunter Valley were breathtaking. The one hour ride was so peaceful and so worth every cent. After the ride we had breakfast at one of the many wineries that are in the hunter valley , devouring eggs, hot chocolate and of course wine. On the way home we stumbled by some horses on the side of the road. They we so beautiful and gentle and we even got a sneaky pat in.

Despite the tiny home being in such what feels like an isolated private location, you can drive only 10 minutes down the road and still find everything you need from maccas to Chinese to Aldi and Woolworths. I’d be lying if I said we didn’t stop a maccas a couple of times. However you don’t even to eat out as the tiny home has such a well equiped kitchen for short stays. For most of our time due to the rain we enjoyed some relaxing time inside listening to the beautiful sound of the heavy rain on the tin roof.

The Clyde had everything you would want and more, kayaking, paddle boards, life jackets and dogs. I would have to say the dogs were my favourite part! We’d wake up to Gracie the starry giving us doggy eyes as she sat herself on the porch outside her door.
