Things to do in Blue Mountains, New South Wales

Story by Tiny Away

The Blue Mountains Range is known for its beautiful, blue haze it emits that is caused by the abundance of eucalyptus trees it houses. Not only is it known for its breath-taking scenery and rich ecosystem, but it also contains remnants of the Aborignal tribes that once lived there which is a sight to see. It is also recognized as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Blue Mountains is the best place to relax for the most needed breather.

The Blue Mountains National Park is an hour drive from Sydney with a lot of day tour options. There are also a wide variety of accommodation options varying from camps to farm stays and hotels. This makes the Blue Mountains a very convenient getaway over the weekend.

In Tiny Away, we do have a number of tiny homes to choose from near the Blue Mountain area. One recommendation is Malniri park which is a 40-minute ride away from the Blue Mountains Park. Enjoy the fertile lowlands of the Hawkesbury River and experience the alluring farm life while having access to a short drive to the Blue Mountains. This tiny house is set on the bank of the Hawkesbury River where you can enjoy the view and get a camp feel with the outdoor firepit.
