Tiny Away on the Sunshine Coast - The Paskins Farm

This beautiful and cosy tiny house is overlooking the paddocks of the Paskins Farm in Palmwoods - just a 15-minute drive from the Sunshine Coast and an hour north of Brisbane.  We made our way to the tiny house on Friday after work and arrived just after sunset. The driveway to the car park and the pathway to the entrance were lit up with little lanterns, so we could find our way.  This tiny house has everything you can dream of:  an extended deck with a table and chairs to enjoy your breakfast outside watching the farm animals roaming in the paddocks ? a comfy little couch to rest and soak up the afternoon light a kitchen with all essential items like toaster, microwave and a fridge filled with supplies from the hosts (eggs, wine etc.)  a stylish bathroom with a hot water shower and eco-friendly toilet upstairs bedroom with the world comfiest bed  We enjoyed a slow morning having breakfast on the outdoor deck and then visited Palmwoods to go for a stroll. The second hand shop in town holds some beautiful treasures and we discovered the local bookstore The Little Book Nook - definitely worth a visit.  In the afternoon we enjoyed the tiny house reading books in the sun and helped feeding the animals, from Elsa the cow that thinks she is a sheep, to Rocky the sturdy pony.  We were really lucky to meet the hosts and had a divine cheese platter, wine and shared stories around the fire. At night, we were able to see the Milky Way right above the tiny house and watched the stars. It was a beautiful weekend away from home surrounded in nature and the tiny house was a perfect stay. We had time to explore and time to relax; time to disconnect from our busy lives and time to connect with nature and meet amazing people. The time you really need to unwind. And we know we will come back.
