Tiny House Weekend Away
Story by Tara Jenkins
Over the weekend we travelled out to a place called Buffalo which is located on the way to Wilson’s Prom. We stopped in Leongatha on the way to grab some food for the weekend when I realised I no longer had phone reception (first world problem). After we found our driveway turn off, the path to the property had baby cows, roosters & horses on the left & a beautiful dam on the right. It really felt like the country. We then pulled up to our tiny house which was fully equipped with a bed upstairs for 2, a kitchen, a bathroom and a sitting area with a fold out couch. Outside there was a bbq, a fire pit, chairs & table & a view of the bush surrounding the property. Another good thing was we got to take Peaches as well.
2 nights of no phones, no tv, sunsets by the dam, bush walks, beach walks, lots of vodka & lots of spoons & sleep.
A perfect way to recharge in this beautiful tiny getaway.
If anyone in Melbourne needs a technology & life detox, I highly recommend staying here in Buffalo.
