Tiny House, Big Magic

Nestled amongst the wineries and farms of Coolangatta lies a tiny house that draws you out of your busy life and into the calm of nature.  ‘Little Magic’ lies on spiritual land and you can certainly feel it as you settle in. It’s so peaceful that you can hear the cows eating grass on the other side of the field.  That is, until the birds come in to roost during sunset and fill the calm with joyous tweets. 

Little Magic certainly seems to have everything - a licensed beauty therapist on site, a loft style layout to maximise space, and a myriad of activities and sights in the surrounds. During my stay, I opted for an enzyme facial as my skin had been quite stressed and when I say my skin glowed post facial, it GLOWED. The magic wasn’t just skin deep though - I felt a sense of relaxation and joy as I explored the wineries, discovered the charm of Berry, and visited a local fish and chips shop near pelican-filled beaches. My nights were cosy, curled up in the loft of the tiny house with a movie on stream and wine in one hand.

The time passed all too quickly and as I patted their friendly dog, Millie, one last time, I felt a sense of gratitude for the time I had spent here - a reminder to enjoy the simple things, and to cherish the opportunities and challenges in life.
