Nomad Nation is nestled amongst lots of beautiful trees and a view for days, Tiny Away was the perfect escape for my husband and I. Located about 5 minutes from the township of Mount Perry, we arrived to find the cutest, cleanest, and perfect little cabin ready for us to relax and unwind.
We spent our afternoon relaxing under the jacaranda tree, and both my husband and I commented that we haven’t just sat and done nothing in such a long time. Tiny Away has the most peaceful feeling, something that we have both needed for a while. We watched a couple of people walk up the large mountain in front of us, if you’re game you can find the Summit Walk just a short drive down the road. We both agreed though that we had our lazy pants on this weekend and let others do the walking while we relaxed.
We decided to have a night off from cooking and ventured to the local in Mount Perry - The Grand Hotel. It had great reviews so we thought we would give it a try. It was amazing, and so were the cold beers. We headed back to Tiny Away and enjoyed some more drinks around the fire which is kindly supplied with wood by the host. Then, went stargazing, which we haven’t done for years—where the number of stars out there was incredible.
Our first night's stay was lovely, we woke feeling ready for another relaxed day. Breaky first, which was delivered to our front door by our beautiful host Chelsea. The eggs Benedict were on point. We went and had a look at the famous Boolboonda Tunnel, only a short drive from our stay. It was very interesting to read all about it and its history.
Our whole stay in Nomad Nation was perfect, we just loved the tiny house. It is just the right amount of space to enjoy cooking meals whilst still feeling relaxed. The view is breathtaking and looks different every time you look out at the hills. It is so quiet you can hear every little bird's cheep.
I would highly recommend a tiny escape to anyone!
