The farm is home to a small flock of sheep, chooks, a very friendly border collie dog, and abundant birdlife. The rear of the property has 5 acres of forest to explore with elevated views to the east and access beyond to the Wombat Forest. The nearby forest includes lush fern covered gullies which form the head waters of the Moorabool river.
